Robert E. Beazley: I am a PhD candidate researcher in the Dept. of Natural Resources Cornell University. I study Himalayan Mobilities at the intersection of gender and movement. I have two main research sites in Nepal, the Annapurna Conservation Area, and the Trishuli River valley of Rasuwa District which I first visited in 1984. I also have a research site in NW Yunnan China that is one of the most auspicious traditional Tibetan Buddhist koras, the circumambulation of Mt. Kawagebo.
